The Heritage of Cycling in the Borough of Kingston
The Borough of Kingston has a rich history of cycling, cyclists and bicycle manufacturing. The Community Brain is currently undertaking a project ‘The Wheels of Time’ to research and celebrate this heritage. We are extremely grateful to the Heritage Lottery Fund, Kingston Council and our team of volunteers for their support and help.
The project is looking at bicycles for leisure, for sport and for work and the impact they have had on travel, life opportunities and fashion. As our research grows so will this website to become a resource for anyone and everyone who enjoys cycling. If you would like to be involved please emailinfo@wheelsoftimekingston.org
